Nintendo Switch games SHOCK: Huge surprise for Nintendo fans this Christmas

fans have been treated to some good news ahead of Christmas.

According to German retailer MediaMarkt, a brand new Assassin’s Creed collection is launching in 2019.

The unannounced Assassin’s Creed Compilation is said to have a March 29 release date.

Even more interesting is that the collection will reportedly launch for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

There’s no word on which games will be included in the Assassin’s Creed Compilation, but with the Ezio Collection and Rogue both receiving remasters, it’s possible they’ll both be included.

An Assassin’s Creed 3 remaster is also in production, so expect this to make an appearance.

It’s possible we’ll get some news at The Game Awards, which takes place on December 6 – or the early hours of December 7 if you live in the UK.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is up for multiple awards at the event, despite launching just a few weeks ago.

Red Dead 2 is up for Best Narrative, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Score, Best Audio Design, Best Action Adventure and Game of the Year.

Roger Clark is also up for Best Performance for his portryal of Arthur Morgan in the game.

With the game earning a massive 97% score on Metacritic, Rockstar can be confident of taking home an award or two during the event.

A big Fortnite announcement has also been confirmed for The Game Awards, according to host Geoff Keighley.

“Fortnite actually got announced by CliffyB at the VGAs 2011,” he said (via Fortnite News).

“Very different game but yeah it was announced back then and we’re excited that they will be a part of the show – we definitely have some Fortnite news, Donald Mustard will be here, they are a nominee as well so stay tuned for that.”

Keighley would subsequently confirm that Epic Games would make a Fortnite announcement.

“Yes, there will be Fortnite news at The Game Awards,” he continues. “I don’t think we’ve publicly said that yet but uh – yeah there will be stuff around Fortnite.”
