Fortnite season 7: Shock teaser REVEALED by Epic Games, huge clues about next Battle Pass

build-up is well and truly underway with the release date for the Battle Pass fast approaching.

The final day for Fortnite season 6 is this coming Wednesday, with Fortnite season 7 possibly launching as early as Thursday December 6.

It’s been heavily tipped that Fortnite season 7 will have a snowy, Christmas theme with the Battle Royale map turned into a festive winter wonderland.

And as fans gear up for the Fortnite season 7 release date it looks like a major teaser could have been dropped early.

As long-term Fortnite fans will know, in the run-up to Fortnite season 4 Epic Games appeared to drop a teaser early on the Switch.

Nintendo Switch fans were the first to see an in-game emergency broadcast appearing on TV sets across the Fortnite Battle Royale map.

And it appears a similar thing has happened once again in the lead up to the Fortnite season 7 release date.

Fortnite fans on Nintendo Switch have noticed that portals have started to appear across the Battle Royale map.

These mysterious portals have appeared in several spots on the Fortnite map, including near where Kevin The Cube first emerged.

Strangely enough, this portal is also in the same spot as mysterious co-ordinates hidden away on the Fortnite week 10 season 6 loading screen.

Another portal has also been seen in Snobby Shores, with this one featuring a wind and fog type of effect.

Whereas the portal seen near where Kevin the Cube spawned has a sprawling, circular look to it.

It’s important to note that these portals are not appearing in Fortnite on the PS4, Xbox One, on PCs or iOS and Android.

So what could it all mean? Maybe these portals are tied to the big Fortnite season 6 event.

The past few Fortnite season launches have all been linked to a major event in the preceding season.

So the Fortnite season 3 meteor tied into the Fortnite season 4 “brace for impact” theme.

And the Fortnite season 4 rocket launch created the rifts that were crucial to the Fortnite season 5 “worlds collide” theme.

After that, the Fortnite season 5 cube spawning tied closely into the spooky Fortnite season 6 “darkness rises” theme.

So maybe the Fortnite portals that have emerged will tie into the major Fortnite season 6 event.

This saw Kevin the Cube finally get destroyed, with players then suddenly transported to another dimension after a bright, white light appeared.

A mysterious butterfly creature then appeared which transported players back to the familiar space of the Battle Royale map they know all too well.

Maybe these portals are linked to the other dimension that players briefly entered during the major Fortnite season 6 event?

Whatever Epic Games has up its sleeve for Fortnite season 7, it’s likely to leave players hugely surprised.
