Transfer news LIVE: Chelsea talks begin, Man Utd scout, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Liverpool

Cesc Fabregas begins Milan talks

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has started talks with Milan over a January deal.

Fabregas’ contract is up at the end of the season and manager Maurizio Sarri is happy to see him leave.

The Spaniard has no intention of a reunion with Arsenal and looks set to head to Italy.

Calciomercato claim talks with Fabregas over a January switch have now begun.

Real Madrid raid Man City

Real Madrid have snapped up Manchester City midfielder Brahim Diaz in January.

That is according to Goal, who claim the Spain midfielder has informally agreed to join the Bernabeu club.

Diaz, 19, has not extended his contract at City and will leave the Etihad in either January or the summer.

Real are yet to contact City over a January transfer but the Spanish side know they can get Diaz on a free – bar some compensation – at the end of the season if no winter agreement can be reached.

Arsenal and Tottenham battle

Tottenham want to spend in January after failing to sign a player one the summer transfer window.

But they will have to see off rivals Arsenal if they are to snap up Nadiem Amiri from Hoffenheim.

Bild claim both Premier League clubs are after the midfielder.

Amiri, 22, is yet to play this season due to injury – but that does not seem to have put off either of the north London sides.

Man Utd scout Andersen

had a scout at Sampdoria’s 1-1 draw with Genoa over the weekend to keep an eye on Joachim Andersen.

The former Denmark U21 star has caught the eye of United as manager Jose Mourinho desperately seeks a January deal.

The MEN claim a scout was watching Anderson during the Serie A match but the player’s four-year contract – recently signed – could be a problem.

United are also considering selling Eric Bailly during the January transfer window, as Mourinho seeks to reshuffle his defence yet again.
