That is the surprising claim of former Spurs manager Tim Sherwood.
The Gunners are 18 games unbeaten across all competitions and have not lost in the Premier League since a visit to Chelsea on August 18.
Unai Emery’s side have come on leaps and bounds since the early weeks of the campaign – although the accusation fired at them is that they have faced few real tests since starting the year with back-to-back defeats to Man City and Chelsea.
But by welcoming arch-rivals Spurs to the Emirates Stadium tomorrow (4.15pm), Emery and co. have another opportunity to try and prove their top-four credentials.
The two sides are only three points apart, with Spurs third on 30 points and Arsenal in fifth but just one point adrift of fourth place going into the 14th round of top-flight fixtures.
Sherwood has ramped up the pre-match preparations by picking a controversial combined eleven of the two Spurs and Arsenal squads claiming it would be an entire line-up from the Lilywhites.
Tottenham have won all of their last six games – including a crunch mid-week Champions League tie against Inter Milan to follow up a London derby win over Chelsea last weekend.
And on Sky Sports, Sherwood claimed that not a single one of Arsenal’s squad is good enough to displace any of Mauricio Pochettino’s team in a combined XI – despite having the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Mesut Ozil.
And in another jibe at his former rivals, he believes Arsenal need it all to fall their way if they are to claim maximum points.
Sherwood told Premier League Today: “I think the new manager Emery has done brilliantly but they’re at their level at the moment, their limit.
“Tottenham are comfortably delivering performances and improving year-in, year-out. Arsenal have got some catching up to do.
“You wouldn’t write them off with Lacazette and Aubameyang. They’ve got so much firepower and they’re going to give Tottenham some problems.
“Everything has to go Arsenal’s way to get a result.
“I know it’s at the Emirates, the crowd will be behind them, it’s a passionate game and it’s always tight but you have to give Tottenham the edge.”
Spurs have only won one of their last 29 visits to Arsenal stretching back to 1993, having last won on their home ground of their rivals in November 2010.
They have drawn on three of their last four trips, however, and have only lost one of the last eight Premier League clashes between the two teams.
