Sair Khan is among the 10 celebrities who have graced the Australian jungle this year who are now hoping to be crowned the King or Queen of the jungle. This year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! lineup includes Doctor Who star John Barrowman, actress Emily Atack and football legend Harry Redknapp. There has already been notable drama surrounding this year’s iteration, with the notable absence of long-time presenter and one half of Ant & Dec, Ant McPartlin.
Who is Sair Khan’s boyfriend?
Sair Khan is one of this year’s contestants who comes from an acting background.
Like last year’s Jennie McAlpine, she is of Coronation Street fame, and is known for playing Alya Nasir.
The 30-year-old is hoping her part in the series will make her known for taking risks and trying her hand at new experiences.
Much like Sair, her boyfriend is known for his roles on television as an actor.
Sair Khan is not married, but has a partner in Our Girl actor Simon Lennon.
The couple regularly share snaps of themselves over social media and Simon has been giving Sair ample support as she enters the jungle.
Simon and Sair met under royalty at Buckingham Palace, where they were both members of the National Youth Theatre, which celebrated its 60th anniversary at the royal residence.
Since then the couple have become inseparable, and there were a host of mixed emotions as Sair embarked for the jungle this year.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Sair revealed how she and Simon had their reservations when Sair’s leaving date approached.
She said: ”It was really emotional leaving him, but I was like, ‘Babe, this is an amazing adventure. Don’t worry, we’re going to see each other in a month.
“I’m going to miss him, but it’s not like I’m going away forever.”
Sair mentioned Simon’s love for the show, saying the Our Girl star is excited about the trip over to Australia.
Who will win I’m A Celebrity 2018?
Despite this year’s series having only just debuted, bookmakers are already predicting who is in with a chance of taking the I’m a Celebrity crown.
According to Coral, the frontrunner for winning the series is Dad’s Army star Emily Atack, with odds of 3-1, followed by John Barrowman with 5-1 odds.
Sair Khan however is right in the back with odds of 25-1, making her the least unlikely celebrity to take the crown.
