Phillip Schofield net worth: What is the This Morning star’s HUGE fortune?

Phillip Schofield is best known for being a presenter on This Morning, which he co-hosts with Holly Willoughby.

The 56-year-old landed the role back in 2002, and regularly appears on a number of ITV programmes.

As well as the hit competition Dancing on Ice, the TV star also works on the show 5 Gold Rings – not to mention How to Spend It Well at Christmas with Phillip Schofield.

Other programmes he’s starred on in the past include All Star Mr & Mrs, and The Cube.

Phillip, who was born in Lancashire, began his media career as a teenager.

The star moved to New Zealand at the age of 19, making his TV debut in 1982 on the music programme Shazam!.

Following two years working for the Auckland-based station Radio Hauraki, in 1985, the star returned to the UK to star as a continuity presenter for the Children’s BBC.

In the early 1990s, Phillip made the move to ITV, starring on shows including Schofield’s Quest, Ten Ball, and Talking Telephone Numbers.

In July 2006, the father-of-two signed up to an exclusive two-year contract with ITV, which was reportedly worth £5 million.

In addition to his TV and radio career, the star has also appeared on the stage in the West End – playing the role of Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in 1991.

His time in the theatre saw him being approached to release a cover of Close Every Door – a single which was released in December 1992.

Over the years, the award-winning TV show host has no doubt amassed a huge fortune for his gigs on the small screen.

According to Spear’s Magazine, the star could have an estimated worth of £8 million.
