LeBron James: Brandon Ingram concern revealed about Bradley Beal Lakers trade

That is the verdict of pundit Nick Wright, who has explained his stance about the Beal trade speculation on The Herd Live.

Beal has come out and dismissed claims that he wants to leave the Washington Wizards, but they have made him available for trade.

Meanwhile, the Lakers have had issues with Brandon Ingram who has yet to click with James.

The Lakers aren’t spoilt for choice when it comes to shooters and Ingram looks most likely to leave.

Ingram could well fit at the Wizards given his future potential.

While Wright is a fan of Beal, he sees no reason why Leonard or Davis won’t join at the end of the season.

“Bradley Beal is a slightly lesser version of Klay Thompson and that is a compliment,” Wright said.

“Beal would be an awesome fit alongside LeBron.

“Brandon [Ingram], I have told you my concern with him.

“He’s a scorer who since high school, has only scored 26 or more points one time.

“When you’re a scorer who doesn’t pop as a scorer, it’s concerning.

“I would be shocked if by the beginning of next season if they don’t Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis or Kevin Durant.

“The Lakers clearly have a plan and belief they are adding one of the six best players in the world next to LeBron.

“Trading for Beal removes that possibility cap wise and that’s why you have to stand back.

“You have to trust LeBron will get you through the season and make tweaks and can’t change the plan 20 games in – you can’t trade a player who Lakers refused to trade for Kawhi.”
