Barcelona EXCLUSIVE: What would happen if a Real Madrid player attended Nou Camp tour?

Barcelona and Real Madrid’s rivalry has captivated football for well over a decade. And, since the days of Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho, the feelings of mutual loathing have only increased.

The two teams have already met once this season – where it was Barcelona who emerged victorious. The Catalan giants reigned supreme back in October, winning 5-1 with Luis Suarez bagging a hat-trick and Philippe Coutinho and Arturo Vidal also on target.

However, what would happen if a Real Madrid player was to attend a Barcelona stadium tour?

It’s unlikely, granted. But if a Los Blancos star’s wife or child supported the Catalan giants, then they could possibly be tempted to take them down to Barcelona for a tour of the Nou Camp.

And Express Sport has now found out what would happen if – say – Sergio Ramos was to head down to check it out.

Well if you think Barcelona would stop him from entering, then you would be wrong.

Express Sport asked whether or not any Real Madrid player has ever been known to head down there, even as a one-off.

Ultimately, the answer was no. It seems they have more sense than that.

However, it appears that Barcelona have a plan in place should a Real player decide to, controversially, attend the stadium.

Using Ramos as an example, a stadium worker revealed that the tour would be put on hold.

But it appears Barcelona supporters would be the ones to miss out.

Express Sport were told that, if Ramos was to go down to Barcelona, then they would shut the tour for around 15 to 20 minutes.

In short, enough to give him time to get a head start and avoid an angry mob from following him around.

However, the tour would only be halted for that duration. It would then, it seems, be down to a Los Blancos player to have to survive whatever backlash would come his way.

And if Barcelona fans would be angry, imagine how livid Real supporters would be?

The two teams are next due to face each other in La Liga on March 3.

As things stand, Barcelona sit second in the table on 25 points, with Real five adrift.
