Aquaman end credits scene: Does Aquaman have a post and mid credits scene?

Warner Bros is pinning its hopes on Aquaman being a box-office hit after Justice League was a major flop. Wonder Woman smashed box office records, grossing $821 million worldwide in 2017 and excitement for Aquaman is building following early positive trailers featuring Game of Thrones actor Jason Momoa as the title character. Momoa plays Arthur Curry/Aquaman, the half-human half-Atlantean ruler of the undersea Atlantis kingdom.

Rumours are also fuelling the internet of there being not only post-credit scenes but also a mid-credit scene, whetting the appetite of fans.

These short clips, often revealing future insights and plot lines, have become an increasingly big pull for cinema goers watching superhero movies in recent years.

Does Aquaman have a post and mid credits scene?

Early screenings for Aquaman are now underway and leaks from those viewings suggest a mid-credits scene is definitely happening.

Rerelease News mentioned an unnamed source who had seen the movie and confirmed there is definitely a mid-credits scene.

There was no mention of what the content was, or whether there was a post-credits scene, but the source gave the film a “thumbs up”.

Early reviews from critics have also been positive.

CinemaBlend’s Eric Eisenberg wrote: “Excited I can now say how much I enjoyed #Aquaman!

“It’s a cool adventure built on some tremendous action sequences and set pieces, with a great hero arc/performance from Jason Momoa as the glue.

“There’s fun world building, and it looks wonderful. A great step for the DCEU.”

ScreenRant’s Andrew Dyce tweeted: “Aquaman is a breathtakingly beautiful, weird, badass, FUN idea of a modern superhero fantasy (anime) and makes zero apologies. Second half’s one cheer/laugh after another.

When is Aquaman released?
