OnePlus 6T deal makes owning this Android smartphone even more affordable

OnePlus announced its new 6T smartphone last month with this latest flagship bringing a swathe of two-year including an embedded fingerprint under the display.

This security feature means you can now unlock this device by simply placing your thumb on the screen.

Along with bringing the fingerprint scanner back to where it belongs the 6T also features a huge 6.4-inch OLED screen with a much smaller teardrop-style notch at the top of the device.

There’s also a dual-lens camera, large 3,700mAh quick charging battery and super fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

You can currently buy the OnePlus 6T with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

There’s Midnight Black and Mirror Black options to choose from with OnePlus also recently announcing a .

OnePlus says this vibrant new colour features a gradient which fades from black to purple under the frosted glass-backed.

Prices start from a very reasonable £499 SIM-free for the Black models and £529 for the Purple variant but there is an even more affordable way to own a 6T.

Mobiles.co.uk is currently offering this phone on contract with Vodafone for just £28 per month which includes a generous 40GB of data.

There’s also unlimited calls and texts and the deal includes the more expensive 8GB RAM model.

You will have to pay a £75 upfront fee but the total over the two-year deal is £747.

If you compare this to buying the device SIM-free and adding a similar amount of data you can see why this is a good deal.

The OnePlus 6T 128GB 8GB RAM costs £529 and adding a SIM-only plan will set you back around £20 per month.

The total for this is £1,009 – that’s £262 more than the contract deal above.
