NFL news: Tom Brady is better than Aaron Rodgers because of this – Bayless

The Patriots defeated the New York Jets on Sunday, with Brady breaking another NFL record along the way.

The 41-year-old became the quarterback with the most passing yards in NFL history on Sunday.

He passed Peyton Manning to slip into the number one spot.

Later on Sunday night, however, Rodgers and the Packers were defeated 24-17 by the Minnesota Vikings.

The Packers are now 4-6-1 for the season, and are third in the NFC North.

And Fox Sports pundit Skip Bayless argued that Rodgers’ recent performances prove that Brady is a better player.

“He’s [Rodgers] just all over the map in the pocket,” Bayless said.

“He’s throwing off the front foot, throwing off the back foot, throwing falling forward.

“He’s just all over the place.

“Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.”

Bayless explained that the Packers could still get into the post-season, but the Patriots are in a better position because of Brady.

“I will say this, they have the easiest closing schedule in the NFL,” he said.

“They’ve got Arizona and Atlanta at home, they do have to go to Chicago which will be tough because they’re arch rivals, but they could win it against that team.

“If you put Tom Brady on the Packers team, I guarantee you they wouldn’t be 4-6-1.

“They’re in position to win the number one seed, but that’s because of Tom Brady.”
