Eden Hazard: Chelsea star makes PSG vs Liverpool prediction and reveals transfer approach

PSG and Liverpool will face off in Paris with the Reds needing a win to boost their hopes of reaching the knockout stages.

Both teams go into the game in good form after wins this weekend.

PSG beat Toulouse 1-0 while Liverpool thrashed Watford 3-0.

In an interview on French TV show Canal Football Club, Hazard gave his verdict on the match.

“In terms of the level of Ligue 1, PSG walk it each weekend,” he said.

“When they play in the Champions’ League, they think maybe that it will be easy.

“But I think that they struggle. I don’t like to judge Ligue 1 but it is true that, when I see PSG, yes it seems too easy.

“Liverpool are a great team, with three top attackers in Salah, Firmino and Mane.

“But PSG can beat anyone. On a good day, PSG can beat everybody.”

Hazard was also asked about the possibility of a transfer to PSG and revealed he has had talks with the French side.

But the Belgium international insists he would only play in France for one club.

He said: “I’ve had contacts with PSG, but it did not tempt me.

“I have always said that if I came back to Ligue 1 it would be to Lille.”

Meanwhile, PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is hopeful Neymar and Kylian Mbappe will be fit to face Liverpool after injury.

Both missed the win over Toulouse but Tuchel reckons they should resume training on Monday.

“I am more optimistic than yesterday about Ney and Kylian,” said Tuchel.

“They will be able to train on Monday.”
