Pokemon Let’s Go: How to connect to Pokemon Go? How to transfer Pokemon to GO Park?

Pokemon masters in the making know just how hard it is to beat Kanto’s Elite Four and complete their Pokedex. The task is made all the harder by the 12 version-exclusive Pokemon tied to Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee and Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu. Those pesky few critters which do not spawn, depending on which version of the game you bought, could be the difference between frustration and a 100 percent completion rate. Thankfully Let’s Go’s integration with Niantic’s mobile Pokemon Go could be the key to filling out the gaps in your Pokedex.

Fuchsia City’s Pokemon Safari is gone in this remake of 1998’s Pokemon Yellow and is replaced by the Pokemon Go Park.

The Pokemon Go Park acts as a transfer hub and playground for the Pokemon you have caught in Pokemon Go and want to send over.

And the good news is there is no limit to the number of Pokemon Go accounts which you can link to your Nintendo Switch, giving you and your friends plenty of opportunities to transfer Pokemon over.

Just keep in mind this is a one-way operation. Pokemon transferred to Let’s Go Eevee or Pikachu cannot be sent back and you cannot transfer Pokemon from your Switch to your phone.

With that in mind, below is a step-by-step guide to connecting Pokemon Go to your Nintendo Switch.

Once you send Pokemon over to your Switch you will have to re-capture them by visiting the GO Park where you stored them.

You will see the Pokemon roaming around freely in a big open space where they tend to huddle together towards the upper section of the park.

Transferring Pokemon to your Switch is a good way to capture exclusive Pokemon which you might not otherwise have access to.

But the action also triggers the Mystery Box in Pokemon Go attract wild Meltan’s to your area for 30 minutes like a lure.

The Mystery Box can be opened once every seven days when you transfer Pokemon.

This is the best way to collect the 400 Meltan candies needed to evolve the mythical creature.

Also, keep in mind each GO Park can only handle 50 Pokemon at once but there are enough GO Parks for this not to be a problem.

And if you transfer at least 25 of the same Pokemon into the same GO Park, the game will unlock fun game modes for you to try out.
