The Moon has entered the Waning Gibbous stage after it peaked in brightness on the morning of Friday, November 23 – the November Full Moon. Right now the Moon is about 98 percent illuminated and will disappear from sight next month when it reaches the New Moon phase on the December 7. For the time being, however, the Moon is passing through the third astrological sign in the constellation Gemini.
In astrology, Gemini is the zodiac of affection, curiosity and an ability to learn.

But it is planet Neptune’s movement across the skies today that is the more important event to look out for.
According to astrologer Marina of MarStar Astrology Insights, the planet is turning direct today – resuming motion similar to that of the other celestial bodies.
She said: “The most important today is that Neptune turns direct.
“Neptune is one of the planets which are retrograde for a couple of months each year.
“It’s not something like Mercury, Venus or Mars being retrograde because it’s something regular and lasts for a very long time.
“But now that Neptune makes the shift from retrograde to direct, actually that’s a very important time because the energy is very, very intense.”
As a result of Neptune’s path, you might experience a heightened sense of intuition, compassion and an urge to help those in need.
Neptune in astrology is considered the planet of inspiration and dreams but also of illusion and confusion.
Marina said Neptune’s energies might boost your creative output today and strengthen your desire to create something beautiful.
She said: “Now that Neptune moves from retrograde to direct is a great time when you can express easily your inspiration or creativity on an outer level.
“While Neptune is retrograde, it’s a more beneficial time to concentrate on your self, on your inspiration on, working with your intuition and maybe even with your creativity but this is more an internal process.
“Now with Neptune direct, you can express the things easier, you can materialise them easier and you can be more oriented on the outside which is kind of a challenge for people who are more creative sometimes or are artists and all of the Neptune people.”
The astrologer recommended you take a moment today to practice some meditation to try and “reconnect with yourself”.
Spend a moment to utilise and channel the celestial energies around you into something positive and beautiful for yourself and for others.
Just be careful with tasks requiring any degree of serious concentration because Neptune can make you more forgetful or unfocused.
