PUBG Mobile update 0.9.5 notes and Season 4 release date time latest

From what has been shared online, PUBG Mobile update 0.9.5 has started to be rolled out by Tencent.

This wasn’t expected until later tonight; however, it looks like the process has begun for November 20.

The good news is that this new update will not require PUBG Mobile servers to go offline.

However, players will need to wait for patch 0.9.5 to arrive before they can get access to the new Season 4 gear.

The new content doesn’t seem to have gone live yet but is expected to become available later today.

“With Royale Pass, players can complete daily and weekly missions to earn points and increase their rank,” a message from Tencent reads.

“Players who complete a certain number of missions every week will win additional crates and currency.

“In addition, more firearm finishes, rare outfits, new character faces and hairstyles will arrive.”

So what about changes away from the new season 4 content going live later today?

Well, it appears Tencent have been working on some tweaks that will probably prove very popular with fans.

This includes new weather effects, a fresh automatic rifle to wield and a new Scooter to ride on the Sanhok map.

A message posted on Reddit reads: “We will be publishing an update on November 20th without taking the servers offline.

“Please make sure you have enough space on your device and download the update via Wi-Fi The update also unlocks the new Ranked season and Royal Pass Season!

“Please note that the new Royal Pass Season and related events are only available on the new updated version, so update as soon as possible.”

Here’s what we know so far about the new PUBG Mobile update going live today, as well as the content for season 4:

What’s new :

  • Added M762 automatic rifle, available in all maps.
  • Added new Sanhok vehicle = Scooter
  • Added dynamic weather to Sanhok
  • Added hardcore mode to provide the same experience as PC.

Royal Pass Season 4

  • Added more firearm finishes, rare outfits, new character faces and hairstyles.
  • Fine-tuned the redemption feature.
  • Added Mission Cards.
  • Added an event where packs are discounted heavily during Black Friday.
  • Increased the odds of certain crate drops.

As with past updates, it should be noted that while there will not be any server downtime, there could still be disruption to gameplay.

If your friends have already updated their games but you haven’t, you will technically be running different versions of the game.

This will mean you will be unable to play PUBG Mobile together with your friends until you have access to the new update.

It’s expected that the new update will continue to roll out over the coming hours, followed by the new content being released worldwide.

It should be noted that while the update could arrive in the coming hours, there’s also a chance that the time difference will mean your game patching early tomorrow morning.
