Noel Edmonds: Rumoured I’m A Celebrity star spotted in France amid jungle line-up rumours

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2018 rumoured contestant Noel Edmonds, 69, was reportedly spotted flying to the city by a flight attendant on Sunday night. Radio One host Greg James, 32, spoke of the Deal Or No Deal star’s whereabouts on his radio show yesterday. The DJ said: “I told you I have intelligence about where Edmonds is and so I was getting quite angry, progressively more angry as the night went on, on Twitter, saying ‘Where is Edmonds?’ Anyway, I’ve found out where he is.

“I got a message off a guy last night and he is cabin crew for a well-known airline, often painted orange, and he flew to Nice last night and on that flight was Noel Edmonds.”

Greg added: “He’s got a house out there so he won’t be going into the jungle anytime soon.”

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Noel Edmonds for comment.

However, The Sun today published pictures of Noel enjoying time in a hotel in Australia.

The publication revealed he has been enjoying time in a luxury five star resort on the Gold Coast.

The hotel is believed to be close to the Palazzo Versace hotel, where contestants from the show usually stay.

He was reportedly spotted enjoying a meal before potentially living off rice and beans in camp.

A source previously told the newpaper Noel is this year’s “dream signing” for the show, despite him not being officially confirmed.

The insider told the publication: “Bosses for I’m A Celebrity have been trying to sign Noel for years. He’s their dream signing.

“They have really pushed the boat out this year in terms of signings and have spent more than ever before.”

The publication also claim he is set to earn a staggering £600,000, which will make him the highest ever paid contestant.

Noel could potentially join the likes of Rita Simons, Nick Knowles, Anne Hegerty and Harry Redknapp, who was reportedly offered £500,000 for his stint on the show.

Due to the reported high fees being paid out to this year’s stars, the publication added there will only be 11 campmates this year, as opposed to its usual 12.

An ITV source told them: “They have really pushed the boat out and splashed the cash more than ever before – meaning a change to the format had to be made.

“Harry Redknapp and Noel cost over £1million between the two of them and they’ve spent good money on the likes of Nick Knowles and Rita Simons too.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2018 continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
