Cheating warning: Only half of men think THIS is cheating in relationships – do you agree?

A study by BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds asked men and women what they would consider is cheating on a partner for their #sextakeover programme.

The survey, speaking to 2,000 adults, found that only 51 per cent of men believed kissing someone else was cheating.

Fifty per cent also didn’t consider cybersex cheating on a partner.

Compared to women’s opinion, it differed massively when it came to the dating etiquette.

Of those asked, 73 per cent of women felt kissing was cheating and 75 per cent felt cybersex was too.

Even browsing on a dating app was cheating for 40 per cent of Britons.

The biggest percentage was in regards to having sex with someone else, which 91 per cent would consider cheating.

The other nine per cent appeared to have no problem with it when in a relationship.

Half of the people asked appeared to be happy with their sex life (52 per cent) with 58 per cent confident with how they acted during sex.

5 Live’s Anna Foster said of the study: “Whether it’s the stiff upper lip or the ‘no sex, we’re British attitude’, as a country we’re just not comfortable talking about sex.

“So we want to have the biggest ever conversation about sex, with our listeners right at the centre of it.

“We’ll be talking about sexual health, relationships, sex and society and the future of sex.

“We’ll be joined by some big names, a live audience and special guests to get the conversation going.”

Other questioned included whether different political views would put someone off having sex (41 per cent said yes) as well as what was the biggest problem in preventing sex (stress – 45 per cent).

BBC Radio 5 Live’s #sextakeover can be listened to today from 12pm.

There are also some ways to tell if a partner is cheating, according to a body language expert.

Patti Wood told This is Insider magazine how avoiding serious conversations could be a sign.

If they are trying to do this, it can show someone who is “getting pleasure out of seeing you upset”.

Spending more time on their personal hygiene is also a red flag.
