Transfer news LIVE: Chelsea make January move, Man Utd, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Liverpool

Chelsea push for Pulisic

Chelsea are pushing ahead with plans to sign Christian Pulisic in January.

The Blues laboured to sign Maurizio Sarri’s top targets in the summer transfer window but are keen to spend in the New Year.

The Mail claim USA star Pulisic is on Sarri’s radar and are backing their manager in his pursuit of the player.

A January deal for the 20-year-old would be Chelsea’s ideal, with Pulisic currently stalling on a new contract in Germany.

Liverpool transfer likely

Wolves and Galatasaray are both interested in signing Liverpool striker Divock Origi.

The Belgian has struggled for game time this season, with Roberto Firmino the preferred choice at centre-forward.

ESPN claim Turkish giants Galatasaray want to snap up the 23-year-old on loan come January.

But the Mirror say that a permanent £20m transfer to Wolves is on the cards.

Man Utd in Godin talks

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has held several rounds of talks with Atletico Madrid over a deal to sign Diego Godin.

That is according to the Daily Star, who claim the Woodward is eyeing the player’s £20m release clause.

Godin has been linked with a move to United in the past and is on manager Jose Mourinho’s radar.

The boss is desperate for defensive recruits and a move in January could well be on the cards.

Arnautovic to Arsenal?

Paul Merson reckons Arsenal and would take a punt on Marko Arnautovic if West Ham agree to sell the player in January.

“He’s good enough to get into the Manchester City team, at least as a squad player. And he would walk into Manchester United’s team,” Merson told the Daily Star. “Arsenal? They would take him. Chelsea? Them too.

“He should be careful about agitating for a move though.

“West Ham fans love him and have been very good to him. Don’t upset them. But I could see United coming back in for him in January.

“He’s someone who would take the load off Romelu Lukaku and I would have him in the team over Marcus Rashford right now.”

Man City want Isco

Manchester City are keeping tabs on Real Madrid midfielder Isco.

City manager Pep Guardiola is supposedly keeping an eye on the playmaker, and wants to know why he is being left out the Real side.

Isco has not played since

Santiago Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui as manager of Real Madrid.

The Spain international has been linked with a Bernabeu exit in the past and Mundo Deportivo claim City are hot on his heels.
