Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic will light up ATP Finals for THIS reason – Rusedski

That is the prediction of Sky Sports pundit Greg Rusedski.

Federer – who is on a quest for a 100th ATP Tour title – kicks off the singles session and he isn’t expected out on court before 2pm UK time.

After responding in emphatic fashion to his opening singles round robin defeat to Kei Nishikori, Federer has looked comfortable ever since.

Meanwhile, Djokovic – who has already been crowned world No 1 – is the favourite to clinch the title for the sixth time.

Should he do so, he will equal Federer’s record.

And Rusedski is eagerly anticipating the semi-final line-up as it could light up what some suggest hasn’t been an absorbing tournament so far.

“Well I think the semi-finals are going to be absolutely brilliant,” Rusedski said after Djokovic’s win over Marin Cilic.

“You have got the four guys you want and really want to see.

“I thought it was going to be Cilic this week, but he stuttered against Zverev.

“With Zverev getting to his first semi-finals in London at the age of 21, is an amazing feat in itself.

“We got the other two we wanted – Federer and Djokovic.

“Anderson has been absolutely brilliant apart from that little stutter and he got a little nervous against Federer.

“And Federer has showed why you can’t discount him.

“We’ve got an absolutely brilliant line-up for this weekend.”
