Mum-of-three Brigitte chose a pair of simple denim jeans and navy shirt to wear today.
She covered this with a simple navy silk blazer, worn open.
Other than her engagement ring, no jewellery could be seen on Brigitte’s person.
She also did not seem to be carrying a handbag – usually Brigitte favours Louis Vuitton bags when out and about.
Arriving at the school, Brigitte kept warm by adding a slim navy scarf to her look, which she wound around her neck.
For the visit to the high school, Brigitte was joined by French Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer and Marlene Schiappa, French Junior Minister for Gender Equality.
As the wife of the French President, Brigitte has a busy diary attending events across France, as well as representing the country internationally.
Most recently, she joined world leaders who gathered in Paris to make the Armistice ending the First World War on November 11.
Before the ceremony held at the Arc de Triomphe, kicked off Brigitte and her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, 46, and other world leaders at the Elysee Palace.
The trio were all smiles as they sheltered under a row of umbrellas.

On Satuday, Brigitte welcomed Melania Trump to Paris, with both women choosing to flash their legs for the occasion.
The US First Lady wore a black coat dress fastened up to the collar and cinched in at the waist with a belt.
It featured two pockets on the breasts, with one large button on each, and a small slit up the front of the skirt.
In a similar shape getup, Brigitte was photographed wearing a dark blue matching skirt and top.
The top was long sleeved and the seams on the front and structured shoulders accentuated the former teacher’s petite frame.
