No cameras were around thousands of years ago when the ancient Egyptians built the three pyramids of Giza. Therefore, scientists have had to piece clues together about how these towering monuments were constructed. There are around 80 pyramids known today from ancient Egypt. The three largest and best-preserved of these were built in Giza.
The most well-known of these pyramids was built for the pharaoh Khufu. It is known as the “Great Pyramid”.
In Netflix documentary “The Pyramid Code”, claims emerge that further knowledge about Egypt’s structures is being kept hidden from the public.
The documentary suggests there are clues throughout the country that point to knowledge of high technology being used to construct the ancient pyramids.
Footage from the show reveals that much of ancient Egypt remains undiscovered, with satellite images showing traces of varied structures that are still not excavated.
The narrator raises the question: “Are Egyptian authorities preventing us from learning the truth about our past?”
The narrator then describes an extraordinary event that occurred at the Abydos Temple when “a chunk of stone fell off a lintel”.
“Controversial images resembling a helicopter and other advanced-looking vehicles were revealed,” she says.
“It would seem that the images were covered in the distant past when things were changing politically in Egypt.”
These images symbolise mechanics that did not exist at that time, or so we are led to believe.
She adds: “Nowadays, Egyptian tour guides are explicitly instructed not to point these out to tourists.”
The documentary claims that, despite strict regulations in place on what kind of research is allowed, there is still evidence suggesting that ancient Egyptians had knowledge that has been lost.
