The 22-year-old has been in great form for United in recent weeks with six goals in seven games.
He played the full 90 minutes at the Etihad yesterday and arrived at the Clairefontaine training base in France today.
But it has now emerged he has been forced to pull out, along with Pogba, who missed yesterday’s game.
