Stars’ homes hit by blaze’s horror cloud

As smoke billowed around her £17million six-acre estate, Lady Gaga, 32, told followers: “Sending my prayers to everyone today.” At one stage actor Charlie Sheen, 53, sent out a desperate tweet: “I cannot get a hold of my parents Martin and Janet Sheen.” Apocalypse Now star Martin and his wife were later located at an evacuation staging post.

Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner, 69, lost her ocean-view home and stepdaughter Kim Kardashian, 38, fears her house may be razed after fleeing the area with her family.

Staff at Los Angeles Zoo – 38 miles from Malibu – were last night racing to move animals to safety. They are threatened by one of six fires rampaging across California.

So far, the blazes have claimed at least 11 lives, led to the evacuation of more than 250,000 people and razed up to 6,500 homes and businesses.

Ventura County fire captain Bob Schuett said of one inferno: “It’s like working in a blast furnace.”

California governor Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency and President Donald Trump yesterday promised federal aid. But he then blamed “poor forest management” for “these massive, deadly and costly” infernos.

He was slammed as “absolutely heartless” by pop star Katy Perry, 34.
