Fortnite NFL skins shop UPDATE: Release date, price, time for NEW Epic Games outfits

Battle Royale developer Epic Games is about to release a set of official NFL skins.

The Fortnite X NFL outfits have a November 9 release date on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android.

The skins will be available to purchase from 7pm ET in the US, which means UK fans will have to wait until midnight on November 10.

According to Epic Games, the NFL skins can be swapped to any of the 32 National Football League teams. You’ll even be able to customise the numbers that appear on the jerseys.

Three male and three female NFL skins will be released, alongside referee costumes.

The female variants are labelled “Blitz”, “Rush”, “Interceptor” and “Juke”. The male equivalents are known as “End Zone”, “Spike”, “Strong Guard” and “Gridiron”.

Referee skins are also included, as Striped Soldier and Whistle Warrior join the battle.

Other items such as NFL Harvesting Tools and Gliders will also be available.

The referee outfits are uncommon skins, which means they’ll cost 800 V-bucks. The main NFL skins are all Epic, so they’ll cost 1,500 V-bucks.

“We’re excited to announce that Fortnite and the NFL are teaming up for the ultimate football face-off,” reads an Epic blog post.

“Starting November 9 at 7PM ET you’ll be able to purchase NFL themed Outfits from the Fortnite Item Shop.

“Each Outfit can be swapped to any of the thirty-two NFL teams, plus an additional unique Fortnite team.”

Another nice touch is the ability to choose any number from 0-99 to place on your jersey.

“We couldn’t be more excited to cross the NFL and Fortnite worlds!” Epic adds.

To get you in the mood for the release of the NFL skins, Epic Games has even released a new trailer showcasing some of the new styles.
