Lucy Verasamy: ITV weather presenter calls forecast 'a little disappointing' ahead of rain

The 37-year-old brunette beauty forecast “mild” temperatures with cloudy skies meaning little sunshine.

The ITV favourite said “brisk winds” would be keeping heavy mist and fog at bay last night, and the relatively warm temperatures this morning meant there would be no chance of frost.

“Nowhere near as cold as it could be this time of year,” she said optimistically. “These are numbers we’d associate with the daytime at this point in the autumn.”

However, it’s set to be “grey and gloomy” as the day progresses, with Lucy Verasamy announcing: “Disappointingly dull and damp with early rain.”

In the afternoon, the rain will be replaced with “blustery downpours” on and off through the afternoon.

“Brollies, I should think,” she advised. “A little disappointing, it has to be said.”

Lucy forecast a “fresher feel” than yesterday despite temperatures of around 14 degrees in the afternoon.

The stunning star, who regularly receives outpourings of compliments from fans on social media, looked stylish in a purple wraparound dress.

Flashing a hint of her décolletage in the V-neck number, the fitness fanatic showcased her toned arms with short sleeves.

She wore her chocolate locks in their usual coiffed bob around her shoulders and completed the look with subtle smokey eye make-up and nude lipstick, as well as a Remembrance Day poppy.
