James has come under pressure at Lakers and has failed to live up to expectations after his trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers last summer.
The four-time MVP has had to withstand a lot of criticism, with the Lakers’ form mixed this campaign.
However, James could be joined by new signing Tyson Chandler.
The Lakers announced a deal for Chandler on Tuesday and the former Phoenix Suns star will be a help to James with his ball handling skills.
James revealed his delight last week that Chandler was going to be joining.
“We love the fact that we’re going to get another veteran,” James said.
“A guy who plays hard, a guy who’s very smart and another champion to add to the champions that we have in this system here today, and it adds depth in our frontcourt, which we have had trouble with at times.”
Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler is expected to line up for the Wolves.
The star rarely plays back-to-back games and could leave the Wolves when he becomes a free agent at the end of his contract.
