Read Dead Redemption 2 treasure MAP: Treasure hunt locations and guide

Red Dead Redemption 2 features an enormous open-world map, intricate gameplay and complex characters.

RDR2 had the largest opening weekend for any entertainment product in history, with the game available on PS4 and Xbox One.

There are so many things to do, people to meet, and places to explore.

There are two options to acquire treasure maps: by randomly chancing upon the correct character in the open world, or by buying one of the maps from a fence.

Map One:

The first map is with an older hunter, usually encountered at Riggs Station, Valentine or Strawberry.

Once you see him, you will need to rob him, due to his stubbornness.

The map leads users to treasure by Cumberbatch Falls, close to Valentine.

Approach the falls from the west and swim to the rocks on the southern side, where a tree will let you climb behind the falls and get to the first stash.

Map Two:

This map is found amongst the Cumberbatch Falls treasure stash.

Once retrieved it leads users to the second stash in Barrow Lagoon, between Lake Isabelle and Widow Rock.

Once on the frozen lake, find the tree acting as a bridge, where you will find the second stash inside a knot on the log.

Yet another third map can be discovered among the treasure.

Map Three:

Follow the third map leading to the final stash of treasure.

This map leads users to Fort Wallace.

But it is the formation of rocks next to the fort that should be followed.

This leads users to a slight depression between peaks, where users will find the final stash to complete the quest.
