Pokemon Go Community Day update: Final secret REVEALED ahead of Cyndaquil event

developer Niantic has revealed the final November Community Day secret.

The next Community Day event takes place between 10am and 1pm GMT on Saturday, November 10.

Cyndaquil takes centre stage during the event, which is great news if you’re yet to evolve a Quilava or Typhlosion.

And if you do manage to evolve a Quilava into a Typhlosion during the event, your Pokemon will learn an exclusive special move.

“Attention, Trainers! Quilava evolved during November Community Day will learn the powerful Fire-type move Blast Burn, a Pokemon GO Community Day exclusive!” Niantic announced.

And special moves aren’t the only bonuses available during Community Day.

Lures will last for the duration of the event, so it’s worth saving any spare you might have.

Other bonuses include double XP for catching Pokemon, as well as double stardust rewards.

Needless to say, fans will also be able to capture a shiny Cyndaquil during Community Day.

The news comes as Niantic begins to roll out the brand new Adventure Sync feature.

Available for level five players and up, Adventure Sync tracks your walking distance when Pokemon Go isn’t running.

Instead, it works alongside Apple Health and Google Fit to tally your distance, earn Candy and hatch eggs.

“Plus, Adventure Sync will deliver a weekly summary, where you can see your Incubator and Candy progress as well as important activity statistics,” Niantic continues.

“Check in via your Trainer Profile to see the number of kilometers recorded for the week.

“Earn rewards each week for each milestone you cross, and receive push notifications when your Buddy Pokemon has found a Candy or when an Egg is about to hatch!”
