Conspiracy theorists have attempted to decode the secretive Bilderberg Group for decades.
Netflix documentary “Top 10 Secrets and Mysteries” reveals The Bilderberg Group are constantly subjected to mysterious and bizarre conspiracies due to their secretive meetings.
This has caused theorists to claim its participants are plotting a “new world order” and control global politics.
Other, more elaborate claims suggest the meeting is run by humanoid creatures.
Angela Merkel along with other eminent individuals are at the centre of claims.
In the footage, narrator Robert Russel says: “In 1973, the German politician Helmut Schmidt was invited to the Bilderberg Conference, a year later, he became the chancellor of Germany.”
Mr Russel adds: “Claims suggest this is unlikely to have been a coincidence as the same thing has happened to several other eminent individuals.”
The footage then goes on to illustrate in a visual slideshow the individuals in question, including; Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, and former French President, François Hollande.
This is to insinuate that Merkel and Hollande, along with Helmut, may have been appointed their roles prior to their involvement with the Bilderberg Group.
The Bilderberg Group tell a different story, they say the purpose of the annual meetings of leading economists, politicians, and scientists to discuss the the current challenges facing the world.
