Fortnite Battle Royale fans will soon be able to get a brand new skin which will feature in the leaked Summit Striker starter pack.
The Fortnite Summit Striker starter pack was discovered by dataminers who rummaged through the recent update 6.21 release.
The Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account uncovered the Summit Striker starter pack and the accompanying Top Notch back bling.
The Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account said the upcoming starter pack would cost 700 V-Bucks.
At the moment it’s unclear when it will launch, so while it looks like it will be a season 6 skin it could also possibly be a season 7 skin.
The Fortnite Summit Striker is an “epic” rarity skin. Its description reads: “Always first to the top”.
While the description for the Top Notch back bling is: “Best in class”.
In other Fortnite news Battle Royale players are being teased when they log in that a new weapon is coming soon.
The Heavy Assault Rifle is being teased as a new addition to Fortnite Battle Royale.
When players log in they’re greeted with a message saying that the Heavy AR is inbound.
The description for the weapon reads: “Powerful Assault Rifle that is most useful when fired in short bursts.”
It looks like the weapon will be of Legendary status, but there may also be an Epic version of it.
The news comes as Fortnite fans are gearing up for the end of the Fortnitemares event and the start of an upcoming in-game live event.
Epic Games revealed the news earlier this week when they announced the Fortnite Halloween end date on Twitter.
The Fortnite Twitter posted: “Fortnitemares in Battle Royale ends on Sunday, November 4 at 1 PM ET (6 PM UTC).
“Finish your Fortnitemares Challenges by then to unlock the Dark Engine Glider.
“Log in early and be in-match to witness the one-time event occurring at 1 PM ET (6 PM UTC).”
The Fortnite Halloween end date event kicks off at 1pm eastern time on Sunday.
For those in the UK, this means that the Fortnitemares finale will begin at 5pm GMT.
