Man Utd news: Alexis Sanchez spotted sprinting out of supermarket carrying THIS

Alexis Sanchez cut a bizarre figure on Thursday evening as the Manchester United forward was photographed sprinting out of a local supermarket.

The Chilean forward, who has endured a tough season so far at Old Trafford, had a big smile on his face as he careened out of Booths in Hale, Cheshire.

Carrying out his own version of Supermarket Sweep, Sanchez had a big bag of shopping in one hand and a couple of boxes of dog biscuits in the other as he hurried back to his Range Rover.

The United star has two Golden Retrievers called Atom and Humber, and it looked like the 29-year-old was late with their dinner.

Sanchez will be hoping to feature when Jose Mourinho’s side travel to Bournemouth on Saturday, although he has lost his place to Anthony Martial in recent weeks.

The former Arsenal striker has just one goal for the Red Devils across all competitions so far in 2018/19 and has played just 28 minutes in United’s past four league matches.

Meanwhile, Martial has been excelling in his absence with four goals and an assist in his last three outings.

, although the Chilean may also find game time hard to come by with the French champions.

According to The Sun, an Old Trafford source said: “There has been some whispers that PSG want to take Alexis off of the club next summer.

“It’s no secret he has struggled and not lived up to the expectations. He isn’t getting any younger and it might never work for him.

“One of their top stars (Neymar or Kylian Mbappe) could go and it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that a deal could be struck between the two clubs.”

For the meantime, Sanchez will be fully focussed on regaining his spot in the United starting XI – and feeding his pet dogs on time.
