Halloween movies: Hocus Pocus tops UK poll of films Brits plan to watch tonight

Just like Christmas movies, there’s a whole host of Halloween classic for film fans to watch tonight. But which one?

Well, OnBuy.com have polled almost 900 Brits to discover the Halloween movies of choice that will be watched tonight.

After all, 64% revealed they plan to stay in for this year’s All Hallows’ Eve.

Hocus Pocus came out on top with 72% of the vote, while slashers Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street weren’t far behind.

The full Top 10 Halloween movies is as follows:

3. A Nightmare on Elm Street
4. Jeepers Creepers
5. Halloween (1978)
6. IT
7. Scream
8. Beetlejuice
9. The Corpse Bride
10. The Nightmare Before Christmas

The former child actors were joined by co-stars Larry Bagby, who played Ice, and Tobia Jelinek, who played Jay.

Director Kenny Ortega was also there, along with Hudgens, who starred in his other major hit, High School Musical.

Disappointingly, there was no sign of Hollywood stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy who played the original three wicked witches.
