Chinese city CONFISCATES dogs who bark too much & owners MUST pass exam to reclaim them

A dog owner in can lose points on their social credit score if these rules are not adhered to.

Once the dog owner loses 12 points, the authority is able to keep their dog and send the owner to a class to learn how to improve as a pet owner.

The first time an owner is caught out, they are given three points, the second time six points and the third tim their points would be knocked down to zero and they would need to attend a dog owners’ class.

The programme was launched in 2017 and appears to have been successful as more owners have put their dogs on a leash and cleaned up after them.

Authorities have reported that 80 percent of dog owners now use leashes and barking is down by 65 percent.

The dogs’ owners must pass an exam to reclaim their pets.

This comes as the country has launched a social credit system to keep their citizens in check.

The social system judges the citizens on their daily behaviour, which ranges from their bank credit to their social media habits.

The programme is due to be working throughout the country by 2020, but pilot programmes have already been launched across various cities.

In the city of Qingdao, citizens are only allowed to have one dog per person and they have banned certain dog breeds.

The country is also working with artificial intelligence and facial recognition technology so its security cameras can monitor the citizens at all times.

China is currently run by the Communist Party of China.
