Pogba was slammed by critics after his shocking penalty during Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday.
The Frenchman took a staggering run-up of 26 steps to take the spot-kick which was saved by Toffees goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Pogba did manage to save his blushes by scoring on the rebound but it didn’t stop critics laying in to the midfielder.
“It’s not right, it doesn’t feel right,” former Manchester United defender Gary Neville said.
“It’s not how you would kick a ball in normal play – it goes against everything you’re taught.”
Meanwhile former Liverpool man Graeme Souness said Pogba was arrogant.
“I don’t like to see this,” he said. “I personally think it’s a bit ‘look at me, look at me’. I just don’t get this penalty.
“I think he’s moved the ball quickly today, he’s been uncomplicated, but he’s been really good today. If he can do that week in, week out, he’d be a properly top player.”
But Pogba doesn’t seem to be affected by his critics’ opinions.
In a brilliant tongue-in-cheek video posted to his Twitter account, Pogba was filmed getting into one of his luxury sports cars.
The Frenchman took over 30 steps walking across a very short distance before getting into his car.
And fans found it hilarious on social media.
“Brilliant! If you can’t get into your car after the first attempt, don’t forget there is always the rebound!” one fan wrote.
Another said: “Love you bro close the mouth of haters.”
“Hahahahaha love you Pogs mate,” a third fan said.
A fourth supporter commented: “This is top attitude. First he admits he’ll change his penalty style and now he’s responding positively to the trolls.”
After his woeful penalty, Pogba hinted that he might change his technique.
“I always try to destabilise the goalkeeper,” Pogba told Sky Sports after the game.
“I always shoot like this and that’s how I know how to take penalties.
“I may practise to change it because maybe the goalkeepers are starting to know my steps, but the most important thing is when the ball goes in.
“Today, I was lucky, but the most important thing is that the ball went in and I scored a goal.
“It was good for us and it was good for me.
“Then after, we carried on and had other chances.
“But the most important thing was the win today.”
