Liverpool news: Reds fans freak out over staggering Loris Karius return claim

Karius joined Besiktas on a two-year loan deal earlier this summer following Alisson’s arrival at Anfield.

The German shot-stopper was allowed to leave after a series of high profile blunders – the worst two being in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

His mistakes continued into pre-season resulting in manager Jurgen Klopp bringing in Brazil ace Alisson before sanctioning Karius’ loan move.

Besiktas – who are paying 50 per cent of Karius’ wages – have the option to make the loan permanent.

However, it’s now understood the Turkish side want to send him back to Liverpool – just THREE months into the two-year loan.

Karius has struggled to settle into life at the Turkish club and after making a howler on his debut before gifting another goal against Malmo in the Europa League – Besiktas are losing their patience.

And news outlet Fotomac claim the Turkish giants want Karius to return to Liverpool and are hoping winger Divock Origi could arrive on the same terms.

But some Liverpool fans are desperate for Karius to remain in Turkey.

“No thanks, you can keep him free of charge,” one fan tweeted.

Another said: “Thanks but NO thanks!”

“He can only be a ball boy,” a third fan wrote.

A fourth supporter simply said: “Noooooooooooooooo.”

“Should have read the contract carefully it said: ‘You assume the responsibility for your purchase, and no refunds will be issued,’” another fan joked.
