Kawhi Leonard: Will Raptors star play tonight after missing Bucks game?

Leonard, who joined the Raptors in the summer, having spent the first part of his career at the San Antonio Spurs.

After suffering a series of injuries last year, Leonard was only able to play nine games throughout the regular season.

The Spurs missed out on the post-season, and his season was ended.

In the summer, he requested a trade, and moved to the Raptors.

Since joining, he has made an immediate impression, and has played five out of the Raptors’ seven matches this season.

Last night, he sat out as the Raptors suffered their first defeat of the season against the Bucks, who are still undefeated.

Tonight, Toronto face the 76ers, and fans will be eager to see if Leonard returns.

Will Kawhi Leonard play tonight?

Leonard is likely to play tonight.

After being rested for the trip to Milwaukee, he is expected to be back in the team tonight for the home game.

What has Nick Nurse said?

Raptors head coach Nick Nurse has not confirmed that Leonard will play tonight.

However, he did explain that Leonard was going to be rested through the gruelling NBA schedule.

Over the course of four days, Leonard played more than 100 minutes of basketball.

“We met after practice (Sunday) and we were still deciding,” Nurse said on Monday before the Bucks game.

“He’s going to play one of the back-to-backs, we’re still in that phase.

“With a West Coast triple (later this week) we decided we’d give him two less plane flights and for from there.”
