Kawhi Leonard: Raptors star takes swipe at Spurs after 76ers NBA win

Leonard joined the Raptors on a one-year deal last summer and has already settled in well.

The NBA all-star was imperious last night as the Raptors recorded a 129-112 victory over the 76ers to continue their good start to the campaign.

Leonard’s contribution was invaluable as he top scored with 31 points, while providing seven rebounds and four assists during his 34 minutes on court.

And Leonard seems to be much happier with life at the Raptors compared to Spurs.

“It’s been great. Like I said before, everybody has been great,” Leonard said.

“They have made me comfortable and trying to get me into good spots on the floor.

“They want me to be me out there on the court.

“Nick Nurse is open and he listens to his players.

“That just helps us go out there and play freely.”

Leonard went off to get treatment on his eye after taking a hit during the game.

But he admitted he is fine and downplayed the serious ness of it.

He added: “I feel good. He got me good.

“My vision was a bit blurry, but I saw the docs and he gave me some eye drops.”
