Galaxy S9 ultimate DEAL – Samsung smartphone price crash ends TODAY

Galaxy S9 was shown off by Samsung back in February and the hardware boasted a number of notable improvements over the Galaxy S8.

While Galaxy S9 retained a very similar aesthetic to its predecessor, it did move its fingerprint sensor to below its camera module for easier accessibility.

But it was internally that Galaxy S9 really saw huge improvements.

The hardware arrived with a Snapdragon 845 chipset or Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 processor depending on what region it was sold and delivered extremely quick performance.

Galaxy S9 also delivered a very capable camera system thanks to its 12-megapixel sensor that had a variable aperture.

This allowed the lens to open or close depending on the light conditions.

But although the Galaxy S9 has only been on the market since March, it has seen a number of tantalising price drops.

The latest deal comes courtesy of Mobiles.co.uk that is offering a Galaxy S9 with 64GB of storage for just £23 a month with a £100 upfront cost and it ends today.

The deal is on Vodafone and gives users 4GB of data in addition to unlimited minutes and texts.

Samsung’s hardware is available in titanium, purple, blue and black colour varieties in this deal.

The contract lasts for two years, meaning the total cost over the period is £652.

This is currently lower than the cost of a Galaxy S9 if you purchase the device directly though Samsung.

The South Korean tech giant is currently selling the Galaxy S9 with 64GB of storage for £739.

And it is worth noting Samsung does not currently offer the Galaxy S9 in a titanium colour on its official store.

We reviewed the Galaxy S9+ earlier this year and adored the hardware at Express.co.uk.

Although we tested the larger version of the product, many of its features are present on the regular S9, too.

Technology Editor David Snelling said: “There’s no question that the S9+ is a contender for smartphone of the year.

“With its stunning curved design it still looks sublime and the display is without doubt one of the best you’ll find on phone.”
