Games with Gold November 2018 NEWS: Free Xbox One games update

Games with Gold free Xbox One games look set to be revealed for November 2018 very soon.

Fans may only have to wait a few more days to find out what is coming to the subscription service next.

October is nearly over, so Microsoft is likely to make the big gaming announcement on Monday or Tuesday.

News being released on October 30 seems like a good shout, with no leaks giving us any hints at what might be coming next month.

The good news is that unlike PS Plus subscribers, Xbox One fans will be able to download a new Xbox One game later this week.

The new PlayStation Plus game will be made available to download on Tuesday, November 6.

The main difference is that the second Xbox One game for November won’t be available to download until November 16.

Microsoft splits up their games across the month, with a monthly refresh held for all Xbox games.

Xbox fans can also look forward to downloading some classic titles as well.

Because of backwards compatibility, the two Xbox 360 games announced for November will also be available to download on Microsoft’s next-gen consoles.

Last year’s announcement included Trackmania Turbo and Tales from the Borderlands Complete Season (Episodes 1-5).

There have been no leaks so far suggesting what Microsoft has lined up for this year, although there is always time for a last-minute leak.

It should be noted that one of the big Xbox Live updates for November will not actually be connected to the free Games with Gold program at all.

While free titles to download each month is always nice, next month will include something much bigger.

Red Dead Redemption 2 recently launched on Xbox One and PS4 and is currently only a single-player experience.

But next month will see the new Red Dead Online beta launched, complete with multiplayer servers.

From what has been shared so far, Rockstar Games are going to be using a lot of the best ideas from GTA Online.

This could mean new Wild West heists and Adversary Modes, along with base-building mechanics.

But fans who want to try out this new mode will need to own a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 and have an active Xbox Live Gold account.

For those who don’t know, Games with Gold offers free Xbox games to qualifying Xbox Live Gold members.

The program provides Gold members with free games every month, worth up to $700 per year, according to Microsoft.

Games with Gold is available to all Xbox Live Gold members, which can be redeemed from the Gold widget on the Xbox One home screen.

Titles can also be found if you download the Xbox One SmartGlass app, and go to the Microsoft Store and then page right.

When you select a game, it’ll be stored in your account and ready for download when you sign in to your console.

It should also be noted that new Games with Gold titles become available on the first and the sixteenth day of every month.
