Claudia’s fringe was not always so bold and pictures show her with a softer style.
Images dating back to 2007 show the former actress with a fringe very different to the one she sports today.
Instead of hiding her forehead with a block of dark tresses, Claudia used to wear her fringe parted.
The fringe used to be much longer and so was swept to both sides of her face where it grazed her eyelashes.
Her hair colour was also less striking a decade ago, with a softer brown hue compared to the much darker shade she’s known for today.
In 2001, images show she opted for a light, feathered fringe all swept to the left.
Claudia previously told women’s website The Pool: “I find it odd but terrific that people like my fringe. I can’t imagine life with a visible forehead.”
Her bold fringe has divided many; it has its own fan Twitter account but was also once voted the most annoying hairstyle on TV.
Claudia’s sense of fashion has also evolved greatly over the years of her successful career.
During the 1990s she presented a number of game shows including dating show Three’s a Crowd, Talking Telephone Numbers and God’s Gift.
At that time, Claudia appeared on television in bright colours, short red skirts and sexy dresses, a far cry from her more chic look today.
Claudia underwent another style evolution in the early noughties when she landed her first major television role in 2001.
She appeared on the regional discussion programme Central Weekend, before going on to present her first daily TV role on the BBC Three’s Liquid News.
In true 2000s style, Claudia wore a plethora of colours, from turquoise to bright blue to brown.
Claudia then began to develop her signature style, sporting her distinctive fringe and wearing darker colours.
The 46-year-old was seen attending events in black and white prints, black shirt dresses and started to play around with black trouser suits.
Claudia now regularly appears on Strictly Come Dancing in black and white, wearing sharp tailoring.
The presenter’s net worth is also highly impressive, and she earns this impressive salary.
The majority of her income is from her role as presenter on Strictly Come Dancing, but she also hosts the BBC Radio 2 Show, Claudia on Sunday.
