Is this the clue Meghan Markle & Prince Harry are having a GIRL? Royal baby due next year

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry married in Windsor this year on 19 May this year in a beautiful ceremony

Last week, on 15 October – five months after the royal wedding –  the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they were expecting a baby.

Meghan and Harry unveiled revealed the exciting news of the royal baby just before they jetted off to Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga on their first ever royal tour together.

As is tradition, the announcement of the baby was made via a Kensington Palace statement. It said: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.

“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

Prince Harry first referred to their baby during a reception in Australia when he appeared to stumble on his words.

He said: “And we genuinely couldn’t think of a better place to announce er… the upcoming baby be it boy or girl.”

With regards announcing the gender of a royal baby, tradition dictates the sex is usually revealed after the birth, as William and Kate have done for all their three children, with Kensington Palace announcing the gender.

However, new information released by Twitter UK could hold the answer to the much-anticipated question of the royal baby’s sex.

Twitter has revealed the statistics behind the boy or girl predictions on the social media site.

It’s been revealed that the chances of the baby being a girl are much higher, according to Twitter predictions.

Fifty-four per cent of those discussing the topic believe the baby will be a girl while 46 per cent think it will be a boy.

The royal title of the baby has already been decided whether it’s a boy or a girl.

If the child is a boy, his title will be Earl of Dumbarton and if it’s a girl her title will be Lady Mountbatten-Windsor.

“Baby Sussex” will be the grandchild of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana, and have a step-grandmother in Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.

The Royal baby will become the seventh in the line to the British throne, after dad Prince Harry.

Harry and Meghan will pay tribute to the Duke of Sussex’s late mother Princess Diana if they have a royal baby girl, a royal expert as said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not call their royal baby Diana but instead pay tribute to the people’s princess by using Diana as a middle name, said royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.

He said: “If they a have a baby girl Mary, one of the Queen’s middle names or Victoria, a monarch now far more understood owing to films, television series and documentaries could be chosen. Diana might well appear as a middle name.”

Fitzwilliams is also “certain” Meghan will have her first child at exclusive ward the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, in Paddington, London.

He said: “I think she is certain to give birth at the London Wing and pose on the steps with Harry for the photographs, which the world’s press need.”
