LeBron James: WATCH Lakers star net THREE stunning shots in Nuggets warm-up

The Lakers, who got their first win of the season against the Phoenix Suns last night, play their fifth match of the NBA season against the Nuggets.

LeBron James shone against the Suns with 19 points, ten assists and seven rebounds.

But it seems the four-time MVP wants to score more three pointers tonight.

He was seen warming up from mid-court and was making no mistake with his shots to the basket.

If James remains on that form, it could be ominous for Denver as he looks to turn fortunes around for the Lakers.

James hailed new team-mate Lance Stephenson after the Lakers picked up their first win of the campaign.

“Lance is always great,” James said.

“Lance, with [Rajon Rondo] being out, is our backup point guard pretty much.

“He controlled the game, had great pace and found guys, came in with a defensive mindset in the second quarter and he gave us a huge boost off the bench.”

And Lakers head coach Luke Walton was also full of praise for Stephenson, claiming the 28-year-old is playing exactly how he wants him to.

Walton added: “What I love about what Lance has been doing, you know he still goes one-on-one and he’s really good at it.

“We’re not going to take that away from him but he’s doing it more how we want him to do it.

“He’s sharing the ball. He danced a little bit late in the game but for the most part he’s playing the style we want him to play.

“He’s competing on defence and that’s why he’s winning so much favour with the staff right now.”
