Fortnite Galaxy skins are exclusive designs that have proven popular with fans and look set to be added to in the future.
Still only available as an exclusive with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Tab S4, the original Fortnite Galaxy skin went live earlier this year.
And it now appears that it will soon be expanded to include a whole new range of items, following sometime after Halloween 2018.
This was revealed by data miners earlier this week, following the release of the latest Fortnite update.
It appears that a new Galaxy bundle is on the way, including an axe and glider to match with the Galaxy skin.
These will be called the “Galactic Disc” Back Bling, the “Celestial Glider” and the “Stellar” Harvesting Tool.
These new Galaxy skin items are reportedly part of a promo that will be run by Epic Games in the near future.
Data miners also believe that these items will be added to the existing Galaxy skins bundle, meaning that anyone who has a Galaxy skin, will also get these new pieces.
Fans still hope that the Galaxy skin will become a purchasable set in the future; however, there is nothing to suggest that this will happen anytime soon.
Small print from some of the promo art states: “Available until 12/31/18 for Note9 and Tab S4 purchasers only; will be permanent for any owners who receive it prior to 12/31/18.”
Right now, the only way to get the new skin is by owning a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, or a Tab S4.
“Play Fortnite on a Samsung Note 9 or Galaxy Tab S4, and you get access to the Galaxy outfit,” a message from Epic Games reads.
“The Galaxy outfit will appear as a free item for you to claim in the in-game Fortnite store.”
So if you know someone who doesn’t play Fortnite but is willing to let you log in on their shiny new phone, it makes for a very risky alternative.
The Note 9 starts at £899 while the Tab S4 is priced from £599.
In the UK, the the 6GB/128GB Samsung Galaxy Note 9 model is available for £899 SIM-free, while the higher-spec 8GB/512GB version is priced at £1,099.

There’s also a Zombie skin and the Deadfire outfit, which will change during matches.
Fans can also pick up a host of new items, including Halloween-themed Backbling, Gliders and Harvesting Tools.
There are no official release dates for the skins, but leaks are typically available within two weeks of being discovered.
