Virgin Media v Sky TV – Latest deals save up to £360 but which is the best offer for you?

There’s another week of savings from Virgin Media and Sky TV with both firms offering some decent discounts on their most popular bundles.

First up it’s Sky who has cut the price of its Sky Sports and Entertainment bundle to £40 per month.

This premium package would usually cost £60 per month meaning customers can save a total of £360 over the 18-month contract.

Along with access to over 300 channels, there’s also the ability to view content in full HD and take delivery of a new 1TB Sky Q box.

Channels featuring as part of this offer include Premier League, F1, Cricket, Sky Atlantic, Sky One, MTV and Discovery.

It’s worth noting that this bundle is for TV only and doesn’t include any broadband.

There is a £20 setup fee to pay but this one-off price rises to £199 if you want the improved 2TB Sky Q box.

That premier set-top device allows more shows to be recorded at once and offers footage to be viewed in 4K Ultra HD resolution.

If Sky isn’t for you then there’s also some good deal from Virgin Media on all its bundles including faster broadband.

Those opting for the cheaper Full House and Player packages will get a huge internet speed boost thrown in for free.

This means customers get the double the fibre speeds at no extra cost.

If you opt for the more expensive VIP or Full House Sports bundles then there’s an even better offer that’s just gone live.

Virgin says it will give those signing up to these services an Xbox One S package worth £249.

The Xbox bundle includes a 1TB Xbox One S console, a full game download of Forza Horizon 4, a physical copy of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, 14 days of Xbox Live Gold AND a one month trial of Xbox Game Pass, giving you access to over 100 games.

If you don’t want this great gaming offer there’s also the option to simply grab £150 bill credit.

Virgin is running these offers until October 24.
