Loose Women’s Carol McGiffin had a facelift – how old is the TV star?

Carol McGiffin spoke out on her facelift in July this year on Loose Women.

The presenter, who is 58-years-old, admitted she had a facelift only three weeks before appearing on the ITV panel programme.

She said: “If you’re looking at me thinking I look a bit strange, or a bit younger than I did last week, I probably do.”

Speaking out about why she decided to have the cosmetic surgery, Carol revealed it was partially down to have treatment for cancer.

She told her fellow panellists: “It’s all part of feeling normal I suppose. And not feeling normal, after you’ve had all that, you don’t know what normal is anymore.

“The more things you can do to make yourself feel normal, I did something to my face and I’m pleased and I’m happy, it was to make myself feel better about myself looking in the mirror and everything.”

Carol, originally from Maidstone in Kent, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014.

However, she has been the all clear by doctors now.

The presenter was once married to fellow TV personality Chris Evans, tying in the knot in 1991.

However, they separated two years later and divorced in 1997.
