Fortnite Shop TODAY: New Leaked Season 6 skins with Halloween item update

Like every week since Fortnite season 6 began, Epic Games are poised to release new skins.

Today will see a new range of Fortnite items launched as part of the Halloween season.

Many of the recent designs added to the Fortnite Shop are all themed around the spooky holiday.

Sunday mornings are when Epic Games like to share their newest skins, which will be going live at around 1am in the UK.

And that means the Fortnite shop update will come a little earlier in the United States.

Loads of new outfits were leaked earlier this month by data miners, all of which will be released during season 6.

And the October 21 update is likely to include one of these recently leaked skins in its lineup.

There’s probably a few we don’t know about yet, with recent rumours suggesting that some Skull Trooper variants are being worked on.

The new Skull Trooper designs are not expected to be included in today’s shop refresh but could be included closer to Halloween.

It’s almost impossible to say which of the new Fortnite season 6 skins will be part of the shop update, with no hints pointing to what could be included.

We can rule out the Heidi outfit (Epic) and Ludwig outfit (Epic), as they’ve already been released.

And there have already been some other massive skins released this month by Epic Games.

Right now, players can buy the Sanctum skin for 1,200 V-Bucks and the Sanctum Moonrise axe for the same price.

Jack Gourdan is another design that was leaked earlier this month and is currently available to buy in all its pumpkin glory.

Earlier this month saw the debut of the Airheart outfit (Rare), which came with an assortment of add-ons.

There’s been plenty of new Halloween items added to the game files of late. Although these will probably be released closer to the holiday.

There is also a couple of sturdy looking robot designs which might be the next skins to debut.

There’s a chance that Epic Games will take a break from the Halloween theme tonight and try something different.

Data miners recently found new costumes in the game, including the Onesie skin and the Guan Yu outfit.

But there’s also the new Spider Knight and Arachne skins, which seem like prime candidate for inclusion.

Items, meanwhile, include the Web Breaker, Guandao and Hatchling harvesting tools, alongside the Hatchling and Divine Dragon.

Fans who aren’t interested in spending their real cash on cosmetics don’t have to worry about missing out on any in-game rewards.

As the development team notes whenever selling cosmetic items, the stuff bought from the item shop does not provide bonuses.

They are purely cosmetic, so fans shouldn’t worry about losing a fight with another player because they have paid for better gear.

The battle pass costs V-Bucks to buy and offer some of the best outfits in season 6.

The Tier 100 items will be the ones everyone will want to get their hands on, although that will take some dedication when it comes to completing weekly challenges.

The challenges are separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty.

The hard difficulty Fortnite challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

A special secret skin will also be released as part of the season 6 Hunting Party Challenge.

We’re only into week 4 of the battle pass, so we won’t find out what it is until nearer week 7 of season 6.

Epic Games has also started teasing a new Fortnite in-game event, based around Halloween.

Fortnitemares is something fans will remember from last year and will likely be available in both Battle Royale and Save the World modes.
