Jose Mourinho charge: Has Man Utd boss avoided touchline ban vs Chelsea by doing THIS?

Mourinho initially had until 6pm this evening to respond to the improper conduct charge which was issued after United’s 3-2 win against Newcastle.

The Portuguese said “fodas filhos de puta”, which translates from Portuguese as “f*** off sons of b*****s”, in front of the cameras when exiting the pitch.

He also gestured towards the camera as he walked off by pointing the little finger on his right hand out towards it.

The Red Devils boss could have been slapped with a one-game ban, meaning he would have missed his return to Stanmford Bridge.

But he has now been given until 6pm on Wednesday to offer his side of the story

United confirmed the news this afternoon but Mourinho refused to comment further.

“Yes I did but I don’t comment,” Mourinho said.

“If I answer to your question I probably have another process because I cannot imply bias so my answer is no answer.”
