Fortnite update: Epic Games makes THIS huge change to Battle Royale

has been given a new update that changes the way games begin.

In order to make the action even more fast, frantic and chaotic, the Battle Bus has been given an update in the engine department.

Epic Games announced the news on Twitter, revealing that the Battle Bus would now travel at greater speeds.

“The Battle Bus is test driving an engine upgrade and now travels 25% faster while flying,” reads an Epic tweet.

“Remember, always buckle up and thank your driver!”

It’s certainly been a busy week for Fortnite updates, starting with version 6.10 on Tuesday, October 16.

The recent Fortnite update added a ton of new features, including the QuadCrasher vehicle and in-game tournaments.

The official description confirms that the vehicle will have a boost function for extra speed.

The tournament feature, meanwhile, can be found by exploring the brand new events tab in Battle Royale.

“Each tournament has a series of scheduled dates and times during which the competition will be run. Each of these scheduled sessions is a completely clean slate – all players will begin with the same score and compete over several hours of intense competition to earn as many points as possible.

“Players can earn points by either achieving high placements or eliminating multiple opponents.”

In-game tournaments have had one or two teething problems since launch, resulting in Epic Games releasing another update.

Available on all platforms except iOS, the update fixes various tournament problems and crashes.

“A patch is currently being deployed on all platforms (except iOS) to fix tournament issues and some Android crashes,” reads an Epic Games tweet.

“No downtime, but you will need to download the update!”

In-game tournaments can be found in the Events section of the Battle Royale dashboard.
