Chelsea star Eden Hazard makes Real Madrid transfer decision: £300,000-a-week offer tabled

The Belgium international was tipped to join Real Madrid in the summer.

Hazard, 27, put the Spanish giants on red alert, revealing it’s his dream to play at the Bernabeu.

However, a move didn’t materialise and Hazard ended up staying at Chelsea.

And according to Italian outlet Gazetta dello Sport, Hazard is ready to commit his future to Chelsea and snub Real Madrid.

They say the Blues have offered their talisman £300,000-a-week to say in west London – and the winger is ready to accept in the coming weeks.

Hazard will earn around £15.8m-per-year after tax.

The Belgium attacker has scored eight times this season, with Hazard shining under new boss Maurizio Sarri.

However, Hazard has revealed his desire to play for Real Madrid on numerous occasions.

Speaking earlier this month, the attacker said: “Real Madrid is the best club in the world.

“I don’t want to lie, it is my dream since I was a kid. We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day.

“I don’t have time, but we will talk about my future soon.

“It is also when you have a dream and you want to make it happen.

“It is like I have said a lot of times: if I leave I will be happy, I know if I stay I will be happy.”

However, ultimately, new Chelsea boss Sarri convinced his star man to stay in west London.

When asked what Sarri said to keep him with the Blues, Hazard replied: “He just told me that he wanted me to be one of the best players in the world. That’s it.

“And he tried to give me this confidence… and he asked me to score goals.

“When I speak with him he always says, “You can score three goals every game”.

“But you know sometimes he is hard, but I try to do my best.”
