OnePlus 6T release news finally fixes the biggest problem buying OnePlus smartphones

OnePlus fans will be looking forward to October 30.

That’s the date the new OnePlus 6T will be revealed to the world at a global launch event in New York.

This new mid-range smartphone will include a number of new innovations including a fingerprint scanner embedded under the display.

A smaller notch, bigger battery and improved rear camera are also expected along with the controversial decision to ditch the headphone port.

Although the end of this popular socket may not please fans there is some release news, that has just been announced, that is sure to hugely popular and fix one of the biggest issues with OnePlus smartphones.

The Chinese smartphone firm has just announced a new partnership with a number of the UK’s biggest mobile networks.

This means customers will soon be able to buy OnePlus devices from EE and Vodafone.

Until now this has only been possible via the O2 network meaning there will soon be more competition and the chance of lower prices.

Along with more networks selling the phones, it’s also been revealed that John Lewis and Carphone Warehouse will also be stocking the highly anticipated OnePlus 6T, alongside mobile distributor DataSelect.

Speaking about the news, Pete Lau, CEO and Founder of OnePlus said: “Our dream is to give people a burdenless experience – intuitive and powerful, combining style and versatility.

“The OnePlus experience begins long before someone uses our device – it’s in our community and through our partners. We’re constantly working to give people more options to enjoy OnePlus products, so we’re excited by our new partners in the UK.”

The OnePlus brand continues to go from strength to strength with a Counterpoint research report recently highlighting how OnePlus has grown to be a top four premium smartphone brand in the UK.

Earlier this year OnePlus launched OnePlus 6 which has gone on to become its fastest selling device ever.

In fact, OnePlus managed to sell over one million of them in just 22 days.

This follows a revenue growth in 2017 that was double that of 2016 and recently the brand was identified as one of the top four premium smartphone brands in the UK.
